I just tryied verifying someones pic, and u know the code u have to write down and hold up to ur face, well this girl had that and it was the right number but it was inserted digitely. I looked close at the bottom and she wasnt holding anything. It was just floating there. Their trying more ways to create fake profiles, so everyone watch out for that

Yup, we got those every day. Definitely vote "NO" on those. The code must be written by hand on a sheet of paper help up by the same person in the profile pic.

I actually just saw one now that took a pic of a pic as their profile pic, and on their verification pic they wrote their code on a piece of paper, then put that piece of paper over the other pic, and took a pic of that. They're getting sneakier, but we must be 100% strict with the Verification of Photos or it defeats the purpose.

When in doubt, always err on the side of caution and give it a "NO".

Anyone who has verified their pic will have the option of approving other users' pics, which appears below the "Forums" link on the Home screen.

However, if you have made too many incorrect votes, the System will automatically make you lose that privilege. That's just so that scammers or people who have difficulty verifying other pics don't approve fake pics.

So it's a self-correcting system, in a sense.

I dont verify ones i cant read the letters either. I found a couple with different codes then what it says also so i vote no on those to.

Awesome, that's how it should be, folks! What people are asked to do isn't difficult nor complicated, so if you cannot clearly see their face (in both pics) and the code on the paper in the verification pic, always give it a "No". Also, always make sure the profile and verification pics are two different pics, otherwise give it a "No" as well. Thanks!
