I believe there is a God. I know not everyone does and I respect that, just like I expect them to respect my belief that there is one.

@stephen316: your not going to convince me that there is not. Nor am I going to convince you that there is. But open your heart and you mind. And those that want to find God will. Those that don't doesn't make you a bad person.

Honestly it might not make sense but my reasoning is not based on facts or scientific data, but on that I KNOW demons exist as I have encountered them before and if they exist (in my mind) it follows that there must be a God too.... it's not fact based, but a life based belief. so. yeah. it might seem idiotic to some people, but when you are in the middle of it, it's not. A belief in God really has helped me through life.

@bigred1219: I agree with you there is a god if there was not i would not be here had stage 3 Ovarian cancer at age 14 got cured will be 9 years cancer free march 11 told i would not have kids have beautiful 18 month old and 4 months pregnant both healthy so can't change anyone mind but i strongly believe :)

Because it's like a fairytale to them. I used to go to church 3 times a week until I decided even if it was real I didn't want a part in it

I believe in God....what u believe about the Bible is ur faith. Not everything in History books is acquiant but that dont mean History didnt take place

Hi Stephen, well my thought is, everything is connected somehow and cemented in tradition. Believing in God and having a religious faith is no different. It establishes morals and values, which establishes the structures for marriage and family and how to manage tough emotional/mental situations etc. Without beliefs in something larger than ourselves and transferring them to our kids and then their children, why expect to have any structure in society whatsoever? So, yes I do believe even if I dont worship or practice my faith often.
