This is what I have been told personally by my bf. Most guys who are on sexual conquests and do it only to brag about them are immature. Like little boys who find frogs fascinating and run around telling their friends and family how many they've caught lol A mature guy depending on how he sees relationships or what he can gain personally from women may still sleep with several women but they aren't going to brag about it. Adult male bystanders are more apt to try to compete or take advantage of what is being said. And (this is what I said lol) women just find it disgusting. Who would want to sleep with Mr. Risqué after knowing that?lmao

I personally dont do it but friends of mine do...i think it helps their self esteem,they think it makea them look better
