Please guys if you stumbled to scammers with legit proof and they had given you their e-mail addresses(which usually happen to isolate you) please aside from reporting it to Admin, if possible report it also to :

The purpose of reporting is to let their email addresses searchable in the internet which might be helpful and to avoid the next naive dater.

Oh, there is also a Facebook page "Women Against Internet Male Predators" but of course Men can expose their scammers there too.

It happened 2 me when i first joined Dating.mobi his user name was Sniper he wanted money from me and he gave me his E-mail i never reported him cuz i knew lil about scammers He tried 2 get $ out of my bankaccount my bank caught it early enough and informed me bout it and i changed my account and it was reported 2 the local police department ! I have not seen his name on here but he claimed he was a sniper in Irac and he was in a milatery uniform on his profile picture on here iam sure i wasnt the only one he tried 2 scam!

I was on another site a cuple yrs ago n started chatting w a person from Tx who said they were living n Africa w her grandmother (go ahead n laff, I was a novice at this stuff then lol) "She" had sent me pics and we talked by email everyday. She finally said she wanted to meet n needed 500 dollars for air fare.That's wen I got a clue lol Anyway, I actually saw one of the pics she sent me used as a profile pic on here jus the other day. The username escapes me at the moment but if I see it again, Ill post it here. I don't really have any proof to report that person now tho

Scammers shift tactics from time to time , change claimed location and if establishing ROMANTASY is impossible then they shift to other types of scam and they work in group/gang and if one scammer is unsuccessful to lure victim then they pass you to other members.

Scammers pose as military deployed in Iraq & Afghanistan, geologist, businessman & contractor (claim they travel a lot)

@heikeva: He went by a few different names. He asked for money always for food and told me he wanted to be home for Christmas to give my kids a Christmas to remember. He's all over in different sites.

@CanadianGirl73: Do you still have his e-address & proof of his money request girl? I can vaguely remember that name (Sniper) here last year .

Local police can do little about romance scam aside from keeping the records. Since scammers never use real identity its difficul to trace them and the jurisdiction of the laws covered. So the best way to at least minimize their activities is to educate online daters. Scamming is a HUGE business accumulating millions of $ annually.
