A couple of improvements with the "You've Got Mail!" and Pic Verification features (by Andres)

Hi Folks,

I just wanted to give you guys a quick heads up on two features I improved today in case you notice things are slightly different.

First, I've changed the "You've Got Mail!" status alert so that it disappears when you visit your Datinbox and does not re-appear until you actually receive a new message since your last visit to the Datinbox page. The way it worked previously is that the alert essentially stayed up there until you read all of your unread messages, but the real point of the alert is just to let you know you have a new message, not to force you to read all your new messages. So it should prove less annoying and more useful now. I know a few of you had complained about this previously, so I hope it works better for you now.

Second, I had been noticing that some users were having difficulty fitting their entire username on a sheet of paper when verifying their pics, which also made long usernames difficult to read for those verifying. I had also been noticing scammers re-using old Verification pics by re-registering with the same banned username followed by just a number. To resolve both issues, all new Verification Pics will now use a random 6-character code instead of the user's username, so don't be alarmed if you start seeing those codes when verifying pics. Not only is this a lot shorter than most usernames, but the codes will be completely different between accounts no matter how similar their usernames are, so this will make it more difficult for scammers to reuse their Verification Pics. I did not want to annoy users who have previously Verified their pics, so this change will NOT affect anyone who has Verified their pic before today. In those cases, the "code" will continue to be their username since they've already uploaded a valid verification pic.

Anywho, just wanted to let you guys know!
