@fordman12: thank u wiccans and pagans are peaceful and dont try to shove their belifes on people they will show u if asked through they are normally very nice
seriously? You are he one who startes this to shove it in our faces and throats. That is therefore a lie, which is the works of the devil right there.

I am a christian who believes in the bible, that begin said... two of my best friends are wiccian. We talk about our beliefs with each other, respectfully. I have no issues with them believing that, because it's everyone's choice what to believe. :)
free will

@Tomuchman4u: Is God willing to prevent
evil, but not
able?
Then he is not
omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able, and
willing? Then whence
cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor
willing? Then why call him God?
- Epicurus

so, y would such a forgiving god condemn unbaptised babies to eternal purgatory, y would the vatican build their church on an old cemetary dedicated to the god vattica, y would he send his only son to a tortuous end simply to make a point, so many questions..., but no logical answers
His son was Him in flesh form. The reason is free will, and unconditional love. He wants us to be as comfortable, and as happy as possible, so he lets us make up our own mind, like when your parents tellm you you can be anythjng you want. At that age sure you ca start to seriously pursue anything that would turn out amazing. President, astronaut, etc. But we still choose minimum wage jobs because it is more cmfortable not having to train fot a spcific job, and getting paud a little immediately than years of hard study, and moving up in buisness, getting paid alot more over a period of time. Comfortable

I'm going to take a break from my hiatis, just for this thread. Thank you, my friend, for pointing this thread out so that I could comment. I tried really hard not to come and check it but I had to lol. First, I want to start by saying that as a Wiccan, I respect all religions. From Catholics, Christians, and the like, right through to Athiests and Agnostics. I do not think that my path is right for everyone, and as such, I will never try to push my veiws on anyone. I believe that everyone has the right to believe whatever they want, and that includes the belief in nothing at all. Having stated that, I have a few things I'd like to say. 1) Wiccans do not ALL believe in a god and a goddess. Some (Dianics) believe in just the female deity, some believe in only the horned god, and some believe in no single set of specific beings. One of the great things about the Wiccan religion, is the freedom of choice. You choose to worship which ever set or sect of gods/goddesses that you connect with. While usually this includes a dominant male AND female deity, that is not always the case. Some choose to just believe in the great spirit of the universe, and some choose to worship only mother nature as their deity. I, personally, connect more with the ancient egyptian set of deities, and as such I tend to speak to Isis and Osiris. However, different spells/incantations/rituals call upon different gods/goddesses (These are commonly reffered to as correspondences. For example, for things pertaining to love, I would invoke Isis, but someone could use a number of other goddesses (IE: Aphrodite, Gaia, Artemis, and so on...) as well as any number of gods. It's based on personal preferance and your feelings. Wicca is a religion based largely in Nature and natural spirits.
2) As far as not seeing *God* on money, and in court houses, or anything to do with government... That has more to do with our supposed "Seperation of church and state", than it does with an actual issue with *God* as a deity.
3) Not all Wiccans are peaceful, just as not all Christians are kind. It depends on the person themselves, not the religion they align themselves with.
4) Who created man, and made the world? There are tons of THEORIES but none are proven beyond a reasonable doubt. However, there is more physical proof that Evolution and the Big Bang are responsible for our existance, than there is proof of *God* creating us. Again, it comes down to what you PERSONALLY believe.
5) No one has the right to tell you what you should or should not believe. We are adults, and therefore more than capable of coming to our conclusions. I would not ask you to believe what I believe, just as I would hope that you would not ask that of me.
6) There are MANY contradictions in the Bible, as well as in the Christian faith as a whole. For instance: Christians argue that homosexuality is morally wrong, based on a passage that says "Men shall not lay with men, as they do with women." HOWEVER: The Bible also states that a woman should be a virgin when she marries, or she shall be executed. So, do Christians holdfast to the murder of women who have lost there virginity? There is also a passage condeming tattoos, yet I know MANY Christians who have them. One can not pick and choose which commands to follow, and which to ignore.
free will allows us to choose.

@GirlInUrDreams: Oh I agree with you. I was just trying to make a point lol.
how because i see no point in what you said other than yoy believe in wiccan, and you pointed out holes, which i am not going to discuss, in the wiccan religion, and you seemed to b trying to say christianity is wrong.

@GirlInUrDreams: i have been a wiccan for 16 years. I looked into many religions and wicca was the only one that made sense. Everybody has there own beliefs and you are right. Wicca won't force but every one i have known has always been happy to answer any questions and tell their experience with it. That was a big factor in my decision. I do find it funnu how most of the christian sided answers on here are preachy and wicca is not.
only yours man, the girls are pretty crammy, but you are being respectable. So far. We are just using our beliefs to defend ourselves just like you are doing yourself man, so preachy is a little unfair don't you agree?

@Hediedtwosaveus: and i disagree and u have no right to condem me for it because unlike christan god the wiccan goddess welcomes all her childern and gives them free will to chose their path
I agree with u ive been both and i choose God but we all have free will God gave us that right (in my eyes) we have no right to speak ill of any man (or woman) of what they beleave. Just cus its ur view dont make u rite or wrong its ur faith
this should have ended it.
