We made a conscious -- albeit unorthodox -- decision a long time ago to actually show you your password both during registration and logins rather than to asterisk it like is standard. We did this because we noticed several users were having problems logging in because they were entering their passwords incorrectly, presumably because the asterisks-method of hiding it as it is being typed was not making them realize they were not entering the password they thought they were entering. We figured that since a mobile phone -- unlike a computer -- is normally very personal, used only by the owner, and very easy to hide from view, that it would make more sense not to asterisk the passwords in order to help users login easier.

Keep in mind, however, that just because your password is not hidden with asterisks does NOT mean it is stored in plain text on the Server. In fact, we encrypt your passwords on the Server, so we don't even know what your passwords are. The only way someone can see your password is if they see you typing it, or if they use your phone and go to Dating.mobi and your browser saved the password in the drop-down suggestion menu for that field. But again, we figured it's quite easy to hide your phone from view while entering your password to ensure no one sees it, and we also figured the vast majority of users don't lend their phone for someone else to browse freely on.

If you guys disagree with this approach, I'm open to debating it and figuring out a better solution you guys are more comfortable with.
