Nowadays people give up way too easy...it use to be if u loved something or someone u fought tooth and nail to keep them (or it) and make it work..now if u say something wrong, they wanna give up, if u have a disagreement they wanna give up..if u have a bad day, they wanna give up on u...I've always been one that try's to be there for people regardless...and I also don't like giving up on what I really want..but here lately I've been fighting a losing battle..no matter what tho, I refuse to stop fighting for what I want...just wish more people didn't give up so easy..life isn't perfect, relationships aren't perfect, and most of all people aren't perfect...so stop giving up and start fighting for what it is u want!!

Its all in how a person is raised. I was taught to fight! (Not quite litterally) Never let anything get in my way. People nees to give their children back the REAL values

Look at the divorce rate,its too easy to get one now,I have been divorced once before,paid the lawyer a retainer and the rest is history. You are right about fighting for it,as long as they are worth and appreciate what you say and do for them. But there is almost always this stigma that more is better. Some people are never satisfied or appreciate what they have. I think I have said enough. Lol. Like to ramble.lol

@April666: Yes,how they we raised,especially now,you can't spank your kids anymore(like I used to get spanked when I was a kid.lol). Maybe I'm going astray here,but there seems to be less assertiveness,therefore less drive and more apt to look elsewhere than to fight for it.

It seems that the more people place a value on themselves and their time, theyre just not as willing to waste it on relationships that are not working. For example, youve been fighting to hold a relationship or even marriage together for about 30 years. Fighting passionately the entire time just to put in 30 yrs together. You're 70 when you divorce lol We dont live forever so fighting to maintain a bad relationship becomes redundant after awhile. I believe that if Im going to fight for the relationship, there just has to be more good than bad in it. The other simple reasons for abandoning the relationship seems to happen as a result of what happened at the beginning. "wow...he has a cute butt. Let's get married!"lol Years later, divorcing because he snores like a rabid animal at night lmao

I agree 100% this is very true.

Sometimez it gets hard to keep fighting when the other person dont wanna be fought for or dont acknowledge ur fight, so the best thing is to give up. Why chase something that cant or dont wanna be caught.
