No most of my female friends i've had for along time and i wouldn't ask a gf to give up a friend for me to me it's about respect and trust

In both cases only if the friend was an ex of whom he/she still had feelings for.

what wld you do if your partner insisted? If you really truly loved her and accepted that jealousy was just one of her faults how wld you handle it?

I ran into this when I was married. I did not give up my friend,and neither did I demand that she give up her male friends.

This is the problem i had recently and it caused a major argument and now the person i was going to be with, Is now the person i cant stand talking to..

I was requested to give up a friend before....I said no and I lost my husband. But if it was that simple I didn't want or need him as a husband. Or maybe I just wasn't in love with him enough to give in idk but either way, I chose my friend, I think it just comes down to the friends relationship and how strong the couples relationship is
