I vote husband and wife, the reason is quite simple when trust in your partner is destroyed you learn to lie even more to each other.

I say girlfriends and boyfriends cuz when u start lying u sometimes dont ever make it to husband and wife status

i say the ones that arent honest with themselves and have to hide things by lieing and it happens in bf and gf more. But it also happens in married couples too.

Boyfriend and girlfriend because you gotta have a lot of trust to make it to husband n wife.

I think husbands and wives, because you build up so much trust that they tend to hide things from each other more often and get away with it for years. Once you know someone so well, I think it is easier to learn how to better hide things.

Hi Chijion, I chose husbands and wives. There is always the opportunity to lie between the gfs and bfs. I guess because neither has made permanent vows to each other and there's still an opportunity for them to go separate ways. So it'll hurt and be devastating but they lie, split up and it's taken as a bad relationship then they keep trying for love and marriage. However, when the man and woman are married, theyve taken permanent vows for better or worse. It's not a you lied to me and you break up and just meet someone else. A lie in marriage has an impact on everything and everybody tied to the marriage. Separation isnt easy. So, for this reason I would think lying would happen more in a marriage. The tighter commitment level would make it suitable for the husband or wife to lie and receive more chances than in a bf/gf relationship.
