Welcome to the new Dating.mobi Forums!

This is Andres from the Dating.mobi Team. In case some of you don't know, the "Team" is comprised of just myself and my girlfriend Aleksandra since we run the entire site ourselves from our apartment! :)

Anyway, the Forum is the biggest feature we've ever launched on Dating.mobi! We worked very hard these past few months to ensure it works well on almost all mobile phones while still being packed with features to make discussing easy, fast, and user-friendly. This will no-doubt be a great way to meet new people and find like-minded partners, so I'm very excited about this launch.

We've created a forum for just about everything, so there should be something here for everyone. We know this might be a bit overwhelming at first, but once the forums start populating with discussion threads, we're sure everyone will find their niche where they feel most comfortable in and can call "home".

You're not just limited to creating threads, either. You can create Polls for the whole community to vote on any question and answer set you ask on just about any topic you want. The sky's the limit!

Since users of the opposite sex will be mingling together, we've also differentiated our male users from our female users on our Forums. Throughout the Forums, male usernames will appear in blue and female usernames will appear in pink so you can easily tell who's posting what.

Also, when you Dump a user now, you will also be ignoring them on the Forums as well. So if you don't like a particular user's posts on the Forum, you can Dump them and you won't have to see any of their posts ever again.

Bear in mind that when you delete your account on Dating.mobi, you will also lose your access to the Forums. If you don't want to date or meet new people but still want to participate in the Forums, you can always set your profile to Not Single >> Not Looking (we just added the "Not Looking" option today so that users who have already met someone or who are not interested in meeting anyone for whatever reason can still feel comfortable using the forums without having to delete their accounts).

Since the Forum feature is brand new, there are bound to be some issues with it, so if you have any feedback, problems, or suggestions, please post them in this Forum.

Please be respectful to each other at all times, even when disagreeing. We hate to do it, but repeat offenders will get banned from the forums and possibly the site, so please keep that in mind.

Hi everyone, this is Aleksandra, Andres's girlfriend. I just wanted to jump in here to say hello to everyone and introduce myself. I'm the one who manually verifies your pics (with the help of the community!) and I'm normally the one who answers your feedback questions and takes care of reported users.

Anyway, I'm really excited about the new forums and I can't wait to read what everyone has to say!

Pretty new to the site also, but it seems like you all have gotten it right here. :) I certainly cannot complain, have not found a single thing that is not user friendly and not encompassing for all who visit. Have to commend you on a job well done. :)

Wow well thanks for telling us more about who runs the dating mobi site. I personally was a little unsure about the forum i checked it out a few times then i left a query with you and it was dealt with very quickly, so thanks and i may use the forum a bit more :-)

Correct on the slightly "overwelming" part, but thoughtful, as well, having so many topics for everyone to relate to. Im excited to try it out and wanted to say thanks for this new feature!

I'm glad that i came back here. I once registered here but unfortunately forum is lacking before...There's no "lobby" to take fresh air when needed. Great job! Kudos guys !
