First. He was HONEST when he could have lied.
Second... SEVEN YEARS!!!!! His chances of a relapse become greater w/ every day clean
Third.. you never know you could be the reason to NEVER touch it again.
I say go for it

I agree! the guy I am talkin with use to be into drugs and has been clean and sober for about 8yrs, he's honest and up front about it, that is a big plus to me... better than hiding or lying about it.

I think april meant his chance of a release becomes less everyday (not entirely sure, but it seemed like it...) but the rest of it is spot on! His past is that, his past. give it a go, if he does relapse, then walk away, but don't deny what could be great on a chance something bad might happen.

Best of luck to ya!

he as been honest and upfront about everything we talk about... The fast that he told me frist thing gave him alot of points! his will power iam not sure about i dont know him well enough to answer that... And as far as if i like him enough... Yea i do.. I have been in a few relationships and talked to a lot of guys and none of them has ever talked to me the way he does!

I totally agree with what everyone else has said its great that he was honest with you and its very unlikely that he will relapse after so long but hey even if he does have a relapse then youse could always get mashed out of your brains together lmao
