If u are in a boat, and it has taken on water, and in order to keep it afloat u must remove 7 even gallons of water, but all u have is a 5 gallon bucket and a 3 gallon bucket. How do u do it?

Fill three gallon bucket and pour into 5 gal bucket, refill 3 gal bucket pour into 5gal bucket...leaves 1 gal in the 3 gal bucket...pour that one gallon over the side of ship....refill 3 gal bucket twice more and pour over side of ship.....7 gals gone. And ice is the word. Welcome back!

Smart 2nd answer :Take the 5 gal bucket and fill it and pour it in to the 3 gal bucket, then dump the 3 gal bucket out into the boat, then pour the remaining two gals from the 5 gal bucket in to the 3 gal bucket and fill the 5 gallon bucket back and u have seven even gals of water to dump
