I personally don't believe in this, but I'd like to know what you're thoughts are,on this subject. What do you think? Think we'll be in for something great? Will the earth be destroyed? Or is this all bullsh*t that will pass, soon after Dec. 21 passes? Let's talk about it :)

The mayan calendar also said the planets would align when the end came. Hmmmm well the planets have done that several times already so I don't think it will happen

These are the same people who cut peoples heads off and rolled them down pyramids, so why would I put any faith in them.

Something may happen. i don't think the Earth will end, more like change. i know one thing, humans keep treating the world like we do and things will come to an end!

I think the mayans never took into acount that leap years were established later on so the date would be off. And though it is doughtful that the world would end. I would enjoy a post apocolyptic world where it would trully be survival of the fitest and not having to care about the same old drama of life.

Ever thought maybe they just stopped counting? Besides that have you ever seen the mayan calender? Nothing but symbols that we at best can only guess their meaning. The real question is if the mayans were so smart and see into their future then how did they let themselfs get wiped off the board? You'd think that if they could see 2,000 yrs into the future they should be able to achieve checkmate only moving three pawns

As far as them being wiped off the earth really doesnt have much to do with it in my opinion. every great civilization from the past has met its end. But I still dont believe that the world will end in 2012. But I do think if mankind doesnt change its wayys we will eventually destroy the only home we have.

Actually 12/21/12 is not REALLY 12/21/12,because of the diffrent time zones around the world. When it's 12/20 over here in America,It would be 12/21 on the other side of the world. So what is supposed to happen? The other side of the world gets hit first with something, then it comes and hits us,or vice versa.I mean, there is just no logic in this.

Well to me there is only one person who truely knows when the earth will come to an end! And its no one here! so no i dont think the world will come to an end until the ONE gets ready for it to! Which thats just my pov!

I know some of you may not be Christians, and i respect that, but,I am a Christian, and I would like to share a Bible verse.Although the mayans were not Christians and the 12/21 has nothing at all to do with Christianity lol but here it is......."But On That Day and Hour Knoweth No Man,No,Not The Angels Of Heaven,But My Father Only"-Matthew 24:36. Just thought that I would share that :)
