depends on the crime.I like the way Texas does it;if you kill somebody there they reserve the right to kill you back! But seriously,I do belive that if the crime is thay heinious,there should be a death penalty to protect the rest of us from your messed up self!

We are all born with a death sentence. Sometimes our actions foretell when its enacted.

mr.ram,We are all born dying. But if somebody does make a messed up choice like molesting a child,raping a woman or murdering innocent civilians they should be disposed of. In my humble opinion,as painfully as possible.

@nhguyinwoods: Oh I totally agree. I think we've had a similar thread before. My stance-If u heinously take the life of another human being, woe be unto you. I have no sympathy there. There were 2 guys in Connecticut who kidnapped a family and ended up shooting and burning the mom and 2 daughters alive...both got the death penalty and it was well deserved....On the other hand, 2 drug dealers argue ovr dope, 1 kills the other...to me, that's just the price of making a dumb mistake, send him to prison for the rest of his life. The death penalty is no deterrent to murder....but it should be used to rid us from those that are incapable of living peaceabley with us.
