(36 / F-M / New York)Why bother? Because someday the girl who is perfect for you, will walk into your life, and you need to be ready for her. Obviously the girls that hurt you, weren't meant for you. But, she's out there somewhere.
Or be rude... I'm still your friend. You're the one who didn't want to talk anymore, just because I said I wasn't trying to rush into anything. I do want you to be happy though, and it will happen, you just have to let it.

I used to ask the same thing. Now i know. Much like ive recently found out that not all guys are douchelords as you put it not all girls want those guys. Some of us want someone we dnt hav to fight with all the time.
Dude trust me ive been through my fair share of hurt and it dont get any easier... The payoff on the wait'll be worth it
