I would just watch her eat, do plenty of talking, wat until she is finished, then ask her if i could just wrap it up and take it home for later, then, she's end up putting it in the fridge, telling me, "sure it is in the fridge when you are ready." Finish the evening, take the food home, throw the food away, wash the plate, cook some good food, take her a plate of my cooking when i return the next day, saying i am returning the favor, or so she could try my cooking, etc. You get it.
