Personally want to know..
@Acire: I dated a man with an autistic daughter...was just part of WHO he was ya know, but I think that it is easier for women than men generally.
@LaDawn1974: i figure maybe their afraid of me needing financial help or something but as i get to third date and mention my sons disability..poof theyre vapor
@Acire: I know I am gonna catch heck for this reply but here goes anyhow....It seems n my experience men have a hard time in the long run with single moms becuz they "compete" for attn. and a child with special needs is just stiffer competition. A man that loves and accepts that ur a mom AND a lover AND a friend, one that actually appreciates the devotion a mom gives their kids is rare and wonderful to find. and a mom that cares that much for thier kids usually have an overbundance of caring and wld probably lavish the same love to her man. At least I know I have and wld again!

(34 / M-F / Texas)23-Apr-12 12:15 am I have to admit I tend to not date women with children but I have before and yes would date someone with a special needs child.
@LaDawn1974: maybe thats it..i was honestly hoping someone would check no and clue me into y not...not to judge..we all have a right to our feelings
I dont have kids but personally kids should come first, i would date someone with kids but at the same time i would like to have a kid me my own too
@realman2186: theres nothing wrong with not dating moms. We all want honesty and if a guy doesnt want that then he shouldnt be slammed. If he does then thats cool too.
@Acire: i agree single parents deserve a chance just like everyone else
@Acire: my niece is autistic and one of the smartest people i know!!!!
