Lots of fictional stories are based on very real events. I feel like there was no reason for this thread to have escalated to this point..and also no reason to call out an entire country. He did not say rape wasn't serious, and his fictional scenario wasn't aimed at anyone in particular. I don't know him from a can of paint, but he posted on a touchy subject and was criticized for be insensitive, which wasn't his intent and then people got upset because he got defensive. I would've been defensive too.
