...this stubborn sumbltch is gonna be around the same area awhile.

Right now, the area I'm in has just been lucky. There was a lil flooding early this morning. Looking at the radar, we've been in a gap of Harvey's path. Not even 10 minutes down the road in Katy, Texas, they had a tornado come through. I'm sure as the storm keeps hovering and circling, we'll see some real rain and flooding. But at least he's weakened quite a bit.

Now we're getting hit kinda hard, wind is picking up. According to the radar, in the next few hours, things will be pretty bad. My teacher friend in Cypress said her backyard was ****ed up by a tornado. The ducks outside my apartment looked freaked out lol. Hector moved my car up to a little hill at my complex. He'll pull it down with his van if the ground is too soft after the rain. I'm glad he's here and didn't decide to stay home. Hurricane sex is a plus, too. Hehe.

Overnight, things really got bad. My apartment and car are currently okay, but people down the road are not doing so well. Cars completely submerged, damn near everyone that lives in a house has water inside, people calling to be rescued. The area by my school is completely flooded.


Bad thing is, the rain isn't supposed to let up for days.
