I don't claim to know everything but I can't believe we "evolved" from a piece of slime that washed up on a shore some place. The problem I have with evolution is, why are we(humans) the only species that have "evolved" as far as we have? Even the most advanced animals have came close to doing the things we humans can do. For example, at this moment, I'm communicating with people from all over this world, and by way of a little black device. We build tremendous structures, invented, cars, even airplanes, heck, we don't even have wings and yet we can fly lol. My point is, its ludicrous for me to believe that we are the only species to have "evolved" as far and as fast as we have. I believe we were created for a purpose, even though we might stray from that purpose from time to time. Great topic though.

I read an obscure article yrs ago that just blew my mind....wish I cld find it so that I cld better research the science of it. It theorized that carbon dating was fallable if one were to believe the biblical account of the flood. Said that before the flood there was actually a canopy of water in the earths upper atmosphere that filtered the sun and wld render any item in existence before that canopy fell as older than it actually was because the sun was filtered. Anyone else have any knowledge of this theory?
Very true. And if the flood theory is true. Then where did all the water come from that made it rain for forty days and nights the whole way round the world? Also, do to that canopy, the air was a lot denser and enabled things to grow a lot bigger and live longer. I'm talking a dragonfly with a 3' wingspan. Men 13' tall. Living 800 years. It was pretty amazing back then. It's like living in a hyperbaric chamber your whole life. But now we don't have the life support and protection from that canopy anymore cause it came down during the flood of Noah. The flood of Noah is also the reason for so many fossils. When all the animals in the world get killed it leaves a lot of bones. And when they all get squished beneath mud and rock then it doesn't take millions of years to turn into fossils anymore.

and if you accept this as plausible you cld open up a whole other debate abt HOW a God that knows all wld cause such an action that was harmful for generations upon generations of his children. I AM completely mystified when a person speaks for fact that they KNOW everything there is to know abt subjects such as these. There are so many more questions that arise to be reasoned on the more you learn. At least for me....

Another interesting fact. Have you ever done research on the sun? We are neither getting closer, or farther away. If that has stayed the same. Then we have a problem. At the current rate that the sun is burning, then only A few million years ago then the sun would be touching the earth. Is that what you evolutionists are referring to when you say that a giant meteor killed off the Dino's? Lol. But then we would have to start all over wiTh the evolutionary process. It just doesn't make sense in my mind.

@JLaDawn: I don't KNOW everything. There is a lot that I don't know. But I have done a LOT of research on the subject. But I don't claim in any way to be an expert.

@JLaDawn: Nope. Not offended. And your right. The more you know, the more you realize how much you don't know. :)
