@WalkSoftly: Yes I understand there wasn't enough players this year, so you had no choice but to do what you did. All in all it seems to be the most logical thing for you to do. But I can also see Andres saying Sorry but there's not enough players & a few people will have a better chance of winning than the rest. To me the fact is somebody has to chose their numbers to match the score of the game which seems to me to be a long shot anyway.

Ill think of something fair. If nothing else, Ill take last years pool's top numbers, invert them, and run em down the side on this years board.....and vice versa with last years side numbers

But first, Ill PM Andres again.....

I still havent heard back from Andres. Ill wait until abt 5pm my time then pick the 0-9 random numbers myself....using the example posted in my previous post. If anyone has any problems with that, you have abt 5 hrs to post your concerns here.

Still no word from our fearless leader. I know earlier I said Id pick the 0-9 numbers myself but....Ive decided to wait until tomorrow morning....I mean, Andres IS the owner n all lol. There will be plenty of time tomorrow.
I tell ya, this years contest has been full of challenges, whew! lol

Ok folks, its here....Super Bowl Sunday! Allow me to address a couple of issues and then we'll wait for the game and announce the 4 winners.

1. I still havent received the 0-9 numbers that go across the top and down the left side of the board. That being said, I will choose them myself. The way Ill do it, and still be as fair as possible, is to use last years board numbers and make a couple of changes with where they are placed. What I did was to take last years top 0-9 numbers, reverse their order, and placed them down the left side of this years board. I then did the same with last years 0-9 numbers going down the left side...and moved them to this years top. All that being said, here are this years 0-9 board numbers:

For Seattle, across the top.....

two, zero, eight, three, seven, one, nine, six, five, four

For New England, down the left side....

one, two, nine, four, three, zero, six, seven, five, eight

2. I have had VERY bad luck making a board link, and then saving said link. It is frustrating as hell to type out the board, try to save it, only to have all that work disappear....10 FRIKKIN TIMES lol!
So, I ask that you make your own board if you wanna follow along. How the board is set up is already explained in posts 296 and 297 above. Add in your personal squares, and put the random 0-9 numbers in their right places on top, andd down the left side of the board. These numbers represent each teams score....and only the last number of the score counts. For example, If Seattles score is 14, find the 4.....if New Englands score is 7, find the 7 down the side of the board.....see which square those two scores intersect on and theres your winner.
Or.....just wait for me to post the three quarters and final score, with the respective winners tonight during the actual game.. I also will be posting each players winning numbers in a subsequent post in an hour or so. Until then, questions?
