Now back on subject since i had to take a detour.....

What exactly is your objection to the Pledge April? Just "in God we trust" or something else?

Its not so much an objection. But yes, I am Pagan so I don't believe in God. That is not my reason for my children not saying it. They are 9, 8, & 4... They will choose for themselves when they are old enough what to believe

So it IS the God part....not an objection to them pledging their allegiance to this country before they understand the meaning of allegiance?

For me it IS an objection....I believe in this country and I believe in God...but I also believe that this country was created from good mens need to escape religous tyranny and believe very strongly in seperation of state and church!

No. I said I didnt believe in God, but that my children shouldnt be reciting something until they understand. They can grow to be ANY religion they choose to believe in. They are to young to choose for themselves thier faith
