There are exceptions. Like my father was never there. My stepdad got with my mom when i was 3 and sister was 8 months. He never once treated us different. We werent his stepkids we were his son and daughter. That man is my dad. Anybody can be father but it takes a special person to be a dad.

I'm a single mum to one boy, i work part time, keep a home tidy, have pets, going back to college in September and i am fiercely independent and no one tells me what to do or how to do it. i do believe it should be 50/50 because we're not in the 1930s any more. as time has moved on, things constantly evolve and change. Including gender roles. i have a close friend who does everything for her boyfriend because she was brought up to believe the women are subservient to the men. definitely not for me.

Throughout the ages men have always been the big boss in a relationship but personaly i think that neither way is condusive to a working relationship. i believe that yinyang is the better model for true love. soulmates will be perfect equals and wer 1 has a shortfal the other makes up 4 it nd vice versa. the best marriges start with the best friendships. iv always had an image in my mind standing on top of a mountain with my blue dragon feeling totally connected, heart mind body and soul, bt that sort of connection cannot be if the man is the boss or wateva, neither can be better than the other. only equals wil match.
