Sweets!! (by MrWalkSoftly)
Hey! Sorry, been super busy with school. As for the storm, people are going cray cray. There is like no more water left on the shelves and school districts are closing....EXCEPT for mine lol--right now. Anyways, I'm more worried about the flooding than anything else. I live on the second floor, so at least my apt will be okay. Thanks Walkie and Critter. I'll try to keep all y'all updated. Be safe!!
Stay upstairs lol. I bet it's crazy there though.
""Hurricane Harvey is expected to make landfall as a "major hurricane" according to the latest forecast data from the National Hurricane Center. The direct impact will be felt along the Texas coast Friday evening into Saturday morning.

A Tropical Storm Wind Warning has been issued for much of southeast Texas, including Houston and Galveston.
A Storm Surge Warning is in effect for coastal sections of Matagorda, Galveston and Brazoria counties. A Storm Surge Watch is in effect for Chambers and Harris counties.
A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for most of southeast Texas through Monday morning.
After landfall, the moisture from Harvey is expected to bring widespread heavy rain and flooding to southeast Texas starting Friday and continuing through the weekend. Over 25-35" of rain is possible across parts of southeast Texas. Major flooding is likely.""

I had to go into work this morning from 8-10, but only the teachers/staff. We put everything important above flood levels (hopefully).
Spec's liquor was a madhouse and so was Home Depot.
Airbnb is offering free accommodations in San Antonio, Austin and Dallas for evacuees until Sept 1st. I'm not sure yet what we'll do...especially if Harvey decides to strengthen to cat 3.
Be safe!!!
