I know right. Don't get me wrong, I'd give my last pound to a friend or family and I'm always giving them little presents but no way would i fall for anyone trying it online with me. and I'd also not let anyone i was close to get fooled either. I'm extremely protective of my friends. and some horrible people they have been out with have had a piece of my mind. one friend had a boyfriend who cheated on her constantly and i saw him kissing in a club with some random girl. so i called him a few names and chucked my drink on him. not the ideal solution but I'm quite impulsive :)

I have heard and read it a hundred times from romance scam victims being a member of a romance scam buster site for 2 years. I am praising you of being smart to spot cockroach

Thanks a lot rainbowbutterfly. that means a lot. i wouldn't want anyone i made friends with on here to be fooled in anyway. And if anyone does properly try it on with me. they'll be getting publicly called out so others are warned. i wouldn't do it recklessly though. someone would have to really trip up for me to say anything. because i wouldn't wanna do something and it be a mistake because of language barriers :)

The worst part of all this is that these pukes make it almost impossible to trust anybody always going into things ready to bolt for the door, expecting the worst and hoping for the best

I agree Jjd and them scammers are using mules lately which is more difficult to hunt them but the best thing is really to educate daters because there are still some who are naive and easily trust to people they met online..,

I'm really trusting but I'm not a mug. even though I'm pretty crazy, in the nice way, I'm also really clued up and think carefully about things.
i wish i could empower people to be strong and not get mugged off. i don't like anyone getting taking advantage of. its just so wrong.

I am protective of my friends too, if anyone hurt any of my friends on here i would stand up for them and be there as a friend. And yeah it is tough sometimes who is real and who is not. Just take care everyone

That's very sweet of you James but do you know that scammers are great in manipulating and isolating their victims ? How many family members/ friends are screaming for help because their loved ones are victims ? Because them victims are under the spell and hypnotism ( not true ) ...,

But when every daters exercise cautions with the help of friends who knows better of online dating then perhaps less victims in the coming months ...
