Not at all. You wouldn't get dunced in your example because he's your friend and you'd be saying it in jest and not with malice. You got dunced yesterday because you used what the person was (a single mom) as a personal attack. The difference is in the intent.

In case it's still not clear, when you told her "we see why she's a single mom", you were implying that her promiscuity made her undesirable for serious men willing to commit. That's a personal attack no matter which way you slice it and that's why you got dunced. The young lady did absolutely nothing to deserve the attacks she received in that thread, and her promiscuity is her own business, certainly not yours.

Those attacks most likely scared her away from the Forums for good, and that's why I'm very unforgiving of such attacks, no matter how underhanded they are.
