I used to take life, and all its had to offer for granted...then, November of 2005 I recieved a call from my ex saying that she had been in a car accident, and that our 3 y/o daughter had died in it. Theres not a whole lot I remembered for abt the next yr and a half...the funeral, her lying in a small pink casket, many, many bottles of whiskey, and what ever else I cld get my hands on to feel numb....anytime I wld feel any emotion coming on (even joy, because I felt guilty for having any) I wld find away to run it off....numb was wat I wanted....but I didnt realize that I cld only store just so much grief....and one day, it just came out...I cried these gut wrenching, primal sobs, I cldnt stop, and I kept going for several hrs....but when it finally stopped, there was a slight sense of relief there...something I hadnt felt in a LONG time. And each day, it got a tiny bit better. And today, while Ill never be over it, Im at peace with it, and Ive learned never to take any part of this life for granted, and I try to enjoy ever single minute I have left here on Earth.

There is no need to be sorry:-) Im as strong a person as Ive evr been because if it...and know theres not a situation anywhere that I cant handle.

@Blondiegurl: I didn't know what to say either there's nothing you can say to change it or make it better I can't ever imagine going threw that

@HonestAndCaring65: I lost my 6 wk old g.son 2 sids, Dec 27th, 2012. I abt drank myself away...its so hard...

@Blondiegurl: wow I've been threw a lot in my life and strong for it but don't think I could handle losing a child ok since everyone else said there's ill do mine my life lesson happen June 3 1981 made me stronger and will always be with me for the rest of my life I help others once a week who's gone threw the same my first love we was suppose to wait for marriage but one night a few drinks made him not want to wait most I remember one punch 2 days later waken up to broken nose broken jaw all wired shut 3 broken ribs that's my story
