Yes, the System is automated and although it's not perfect, it actually works quite well. I just looked at your account and you have actually made several incorrect votes (and many correct ones). I had a quick look at the last 2 you incorrectly voted "YES" and the first one (Thomasbj) had only 5 out of 6 characters of his verification code visible on his verification pic, and the 2nd one (LouisByName) doesn't have his verification code visible at all. So if we look at those two recent examples, the community correctly denied their verifications, while you incorrectly approved them. Therefore, I'm afraid your assertion that the System is screwed up and that you have not made mistakes is not correct. Although I do believe you are honest, it does not seem like you follow the very strict rules for picture approval at all times, as evidenced by the quick examples above, and when that happens too many times, your privileges are automatically removed in order to preserve the integrity of the Verification System.

That said, at some point, I will build an automatic amnesty on excluded approvers into the System, and you'll be able to verify pics again. But I don't like to talk about the details of the Verification System so that it is not abused and to ensure its integrity is preserved.
