@Sammy2: I really loved reading your post Sammy2. It's been the most honest and sensible response on the racial issue I've read since being here in dating.mobi lol I don't think anyone has to give up who they are or just "tolerate" other races. To me, it's simply about respect and common sense. Racial tension is a vicious cycle. Racism brews resentment which stirs more racism and more resentment. It's like a dog chasing its tail. It becomes ridiculous and tiring because both sides have to come right back to the beginning and revisit the issues time and time again with freshness and there are way too many different races of people in this country and in the world to be locked in a time zone beating the racial horse, so to speak to death. You don't have to be black to treat black people with respect. I don't have to be white to treat white people with respect. In any case, your post was refreshing and your dad's ideas didn't change what I thought about it or you. I appreciated you being completely honest and uncensored about it :))
