That's great to see so many responses! Whatever the personal reasons are for wanting to visit these places it's good to see that you are interested in exploring what existed before our time :)) Which work would you prefer to do in these places? Cataloguing (old documents, written reports etc), digging up artifacts and skeletal remains, or recording the language of the people?

Hello planetdoodle and welcome to dating.mobi btw Ahh, the Amazon.... Nice! I havent heard much about the Amazon in a while so it would be interesting to find out what landmarks still exist there.

I agree with you! I watched a film of old pre civil war documents being discovered, studied, and catalogued and I'll tell you besides the internal disappointments of the time period, I was just amazed at how different the language, money, etc was. That cant be told through human remains only :)

Another favorite part of Anthropological study I noticed was in the area of linguistics. I noticed that you mentioned the study of the language of different people and their cultures Nzsweetie24. The main thing that had drawn my interest is how people can be in different regions of the same country and speak with different dialects and also the origins of sounds and words. Pretty darn interesting for sure! :D

@JustMeAndYou77: Lingustics is a hugely fascinating study! Alphabets such as runes are intriguing, because despite different countries and languages (as you said) they often have similar if not the same runes.
