A middle school teacher is accused of giving a student a lap dance in front of the whole class.

Police near Houston, Texas, say 42-year-old Felicia Smith gave the boy a "full-contact lap dance" that lasted about four minutes.

According to police, the incident occurred at Stovall Middle School on February 26, the boy's 15th birthday. At the end of the lap dance, Smith reportedly hugged the student and said "I love you, baby. Happy birthday."

The lap dance was recorded on video and investigators are looking into the video.

Smith didn't comment to CNN affiliate KHOU, but police said during questioning, that she gave the student a lap dance at the urging of his classmates.

In a statement, the school district says it "takes this allegation seriously and is fully cooperating with prosecutors." Smith has since been removed from the classroom.
