My girls just now in labor first kitten just poking through. She curled right beside me. Think she's scared. She's only 8-9 months. Will keep y'all posted. Seems to be taking a while to get 1st out. Should i quit petting and let her focus on her natural instincts? I wanna comfort my baby! Never knew a cat that didnt hide to give birth

She just went under the bed (which i lined with blankets days ago on a hunch lol) first one's about half way out.

Yeah they like to be alone during this. Its hard to stay away but give her a few hours to deliver, but if she's having trouble keep an eye on her, she may need help

@Briteeyes: almost glad i hurt my hip tonight otherwise I might have missed this! She's a brave baby not making much noise, even giving a couple purrs when I peek on her. Just thought the 1st would be out by now. Been at least 30 min since i saw it peeking through

@Sweetred73: aww kittens are so cute, oh man my bros are goin get on me bout this post lol thats cool tho whatever :) To tell ya the truth, i know im kinda of soft for a guy. But thats me :) Hope all goes well

Well been quite a night. She had 3 kittens looks like that's it. She let me hold one angel and I got a pic. Lol but the wee one was mad that my hand had no nipples so i put it back to mommy.

@MikeN2012: lol one of my dearest friends is a 6'3" football jock but he's nuts about his pets. Got many pics of him cuddling with his boys. I love a man that's not too macho to baby talk and hug on a doggy/kitty. To me a man that sensitive is a huge turn on!

@Sweetred73: Yea ive been like that my whole life, just had been shy be4 on site 2 show my soft side but im peekin my head out my shell. I'll admit that, to me, kittens are so cute i got a sensitive side, im just showin it to alot of the new ppl that might not know me as well. Checked ur profile and kitty pics, there so cute :)

@MikeN2012: been a very long crazy day. Will give more info tomorrow. The young mommas behavior's been interesting. I will say she had 4 babies. Last wasn't till almost 7am central time. She's an amazing little kitty. We were good buddies already but I adore this little sweety. She's a good mommy despite being a kitten herself. Nature is awe inspiring.
