Posts that have received infractions will now be permanently highlighted in RED (by Andres)
Good news, I think I got it to work. I had to change the permissions of regular users within the Forum software for you guys to be able to see what I see.
Try now.
Try now.
It works, I went back an read a few posts just to see. I think the idea is a good one, we shall see in the long run if it works like it should.
@Andres: Perfect. Edit: Now everybody can see why that person was dunce, instead of it being a guessing game.

Glad to hear it's working now, folks! Thanks for all your feedback!
The only downside I see to this is that it can be a bit misleading considering that I normally only give an infraction to the first offense by a user in a single day. So for example, if 2 users get into a flame war and each attack each other 5 times in one day, I only hand out 1 infraction to each instead of 5 so that their sentence isn't too severe. However, that would mean only the 1st offending post from each would get highlighted red, whereas the other 4 posts that also violated the rules would not be highlighted. This could be misinterpreted as those 4 posts being within the rules, when in fact they're not.
So I might have to change how I handle infractions, and start giving infractions for every single offending post regardless of where and when it happens so that any and all rule breaks are clearly highlighted in red. Of course, this would mean longer dunces for those who get caught up in the heat of the moment unless I change how many infraction points each rule break gets.
I'm going to have to think about this one, but expect a few changes in the near future and possibly more strictness.

@Andres: I have a question, will this new feature back track prior posted comments? Say like somebody cursed another user yesterday, last week, last month or will it just begin from today's rude comments?
Yes, it should be retroactive. Infractions only last 180 days, so I'm not sure if the Forum software will show it for posts over 180 days old, but it should definitely show it for posts less than 180 days that have received infractions.
@Andres: Ok, I just looked at a thread from yesterday that I sort of knew would have at least one person dunced & I seen their comment was highlighted in red.
@Andres: Now I have another question: Does this mean there is no longer a need to report an abusive comments?
No, you guys still have to report offending posts for me to see them and give them an infraction so that the post turns red.
