Peanut butter just aint for sandwiches anymore... (by WalkSoftly1)
......""" If you’re like me, you’ve
always got a jar of
peanut butter around.
And if you’re really like
me, it also takes you a
while to get through the
whole thing. Well, with
these handy household
uses for peanut butter in
your back pocket, you
might be able to get a
little more mileage out
of it than just peanut
butter and banana
sandwiches!
Getting chewing gum out
of your hair
The oils present in
peanut butter attract the
natural gum base in
chewing gum, helping
pull it away from your
hair. They also slip
between the gum and
your hair, allowing the
gum to come off with
ease. Thoroughly
massage peanut butter
into the gummy parts
and pull away the dried
out gum! As for getting
the peanut butter out,
just hop into the shower.
Removing stickers and
sticker residue
Whether you’ve just got
a gummy price tag to
remove or the Hello
Kitty stickers on your
kid’s lunch box have lost
their charm, a bit of
peanut butter and a
cloth are an easy way to
take care of a sticky
problem. Just lay on a
thin layer of peanut
butter and rub it clean
with a cloth, and you
should have a clean,
glue-free surface!
Emergency shaving
cream
Curiously enough, many
folks swear by peanut
butter as an excellent,
natural alternative to
shaving gels, foams, and
creams. The oils in
peanut butter are
supposed to be quite
moisturizing for your
skin, and come off
smoothly as well! (P.S.
Use smooth and creamy
peanut butter only,
please!)
Fixing scratched DVDs
and CDs
This one might be a little
dated for you now, but if
you’re one of those folks
who still loves to keep a
great, physical collection
of DVDs or CDs, you can
repair small scratches in
them by rubbing in a bit
of peanut butter and
wiping it away with a
dry cloth. It’s easy and
works well for most
minor issues.
Getting out of a squeaky
situation
If your tools are getting
a bit rusty or tight,
peanut butter makes a
pretty decent lubricant
in an emergency. Its
high oil content makes it
a great, clean way to put
a stop to squeaks and
smooth things over once
again. Cooking oils in
general can also come in
handy, but when you
just need a dab or two,
peanut butter might
actually be a little
cleaner and neater."""".....

I've used it in my daughters hair before to remove gum, she threw a fit, but it worked
Shouldnt they kill two birds with one stone and make peanut butter flavored gum?
