Cuz it sure does seem that way because alot of creationists do in fact believe that the earth and humans and indeed the entire universe was only made a few thousand years ago . They are called young earth creationists and believe me there is alot of them especially in your country . Just google the term if you dont believe me cuz you will find page after page of people trying to convince you that the earth is only 6 thousand years old lol . And i dont care what anyones beliefs are but when them beliefs are irrational and illogical and dont make any sense and are easily refuted then tbh they deserve a bit of flak over them . Pmsl

Ahh.... One speculation is that the sea/ocean is much older than land as the earth was covered mostly by it. So, some of these ancient sea/ocean creatures made it to land. As they became exposed to land some of them stayed on land and adapted while some adapted to live both and the others havent fully evolved yet. This is the opposite speculation for creatures evolving from land to sea. Some underwater life do resemble dinosaurs, which is crazy lol

@spacer, I can also google page after page of ppl trying to convince others that our existence is an alien experiment, does that make it true? Irregardless of what we each individually believe we don't "deserve some flak" or deserve being belittled which is what your doing to a great portion of the earths population. This is a fascinating subject and highly debatable, it is unfortunate that anyone with a differing pov than you is unlikely to comment so as to avoid your scathing degradation.

I read a fascinating article several years ago that was offering the premise that Dinos WERE ocean creatures that still exist today in unexplored parts of the ocean depths. And how some land dwelling creatures are adaptations.

Humans evolved from what , i think thats like asking who came first egg or chicken . Humans evolved from an un intelligent species and we're still unintelligent species , thats what i think .
the more crucial question is what are we going to evolve into from here ?

I read an obscure article yrs ago that just blew my mind....wish I cld find it so that I cld better research the science of it. It theorized that carbon dating was fallable if one were to believe the biblical account of the flood. Said that before the flood there was actually a canopy of water in the earths upper atmosphere that filtered the sun and wld render any item in existence before that canopy fell as older than it actually was because the sun was filtered. Anyone else have any knowledge of this theory?
