Best Assault Rifle? (by Hawkeye58)
(65 / M-F / Arizona)I've fired most of the most popular ones, but really love the futuristic bullpup design of the Steyer AUG.
that is a good rifle,but I have plans on an ak-47 myself. I would go with the current incarnation of the m-4 but a bit too pricy for me.
I love the AK-47! Except for the lack of long range accuracy. The Israeli Galil is a superb improvement in the basic Kalashnikov design with much improved sights.
ive fired alot of assault rifles i realy am partial to the HK G3 or the FN FAL
I really like the AK 74 but its hard to find but thing i love my baby my AR 15 with a 100 round mag
I would love to find a semi-auto hkmp-5(I know its a sub,but they are just so sweet!)
the AR is decent i carry a M4 in the Army buT i jam up quik sumtimes and most gun stores should be able to order a AK for half price of AR but AK not good for acuracy
long range isnt an option in newhampshire though hawkeye. The longest shot you are likely to get around here is about 200yrds. I know it is a whole different story out your way.
I can't forget about the M 240 Bravo love to shoot it what a rush
@vinnie612: I used to have an HK 91 (G3) really a great rifle!! I never, ever had a round jam in that gun, no matter how dirty it got or what cheap crappy ammo I'd run through it! Lol
