I (26f) jumped the gun by telling my friends about a cancer scare, what do I do now?

I (26f), am autistic and live with my parents. I went to college in a town where everyone knows everyone. I now am back in my parents' house, in a town where I am very isolated and never had friends.
After months of having unexplained leg pain, I took a blood test. It came out too high for cholesterol and lymphocytes (a type of white blood cell) and too low for Vitamin D.
I googled my symptoms, and BOOM! It was evident that I have leukemia, according to reputable sources on the internet. I made an appointment to get tested the following day (today).
I PANICKED and called my friend Emma (27f) from my college town. "Getting tested for leukemia tomorrow after my blood test showed signs of it."
Well I went to the doctor today and he practically laughed in my face and said it is very unlikely to be cancer. However, a bone marrow test was still performed because I insisted it on it. The doctor said the high lymphocyte count was more likely due to an infection from my UTI, but nothing serious.
But it's too late. Emma already told everyone that I might have the big C. Now, friends who I haven't spoken to in years are now showing up in my texts and asking "How did the appointment go?? I'll pray for you!"
I told my parents about it, and they are mad at me that I am "making stuff up." I feel like a caused I stir for no reason. What do I do now?
Tl;dr: I jumped the gun and told my friends about a cancer scare, which ended up being nothing serious. What do I do now?
