I really dislike the idea of my partner discussing our sex life with other people. Can I get some ad (by Sparky)
I really dislike the idea of my partner discussing our sex life with other people. Can I get some advice?
I'm a 27 year old man with a couple of relationships in the past (none currently). What started this was glancing over at another Forum Section and noticing a post about someone leaving their S/O because she told her friends about their sex life after he had made the boundary not to.
Personally, this is also exactly how I feel about it too. I despise the idea of my partner running and telling their friends about my kinks or what we did in private.
With the post in question, many are labeling the boundary abusive. Saying that blocking off sex talk is a red flag.
I don't want to be abusive. I certainly don't want to control my partner. However I am a very private person and don't like my fetishes and kinks being dragged into the light for everyone to see.
So am I a controlling abusive ******* for having the boundary? Or do you feel similar. If it is abusive, how does one get over it?
tl;dr: I don't like my partner discussing our sex life, advice whether this boundary is good or abusive?
