ELI5: why do companies want their employees to stop working from home so bad?

So I know I?m missing something big when it comes to this.
From what I can tell, employees being at home is a huge win for companies.
They could stop leasing commercial property like office spaces.
They wouldn?t have to staff those spaces with any employees whose job didn?t pertain to the business (think Janitors, Security, etc)
Employees would perceive being allowed to continue to work from home as a ?win? (for the most part).
It would cut commuting costs for employees (morale boost/perception of ?more money? from money saved)
And on a macro level there would be less traffic which would be better for shipping times.
My guess is it has to do with breaking lease contracts?
I just don?t get how it hurts most companies to have their employees work from home, it seems like the amount of potential money saved outweighs whatever negatives there are.
I can just tell I?m missing something, can someone please ELI5?
