I told my boyfriend that I didn't understand why he changed his opinion on this. But that I had two options: looking for a place together that's in my budget or I just move by myself. I mean in his apartment I pay 35% of the rent and that's more expensive of what I used to pay. But it would take me time finding a place so that would mean to wait at least 2/3 months unless I was lucky and found one before.
But I also asked him why he changed his opinion because I need to know it. He just told me to forget it and that I don't need to move anywhere. And he said that he was stressed ans just taking his anger on me. And promised me he isn't doing this again.
And I'm not sure how to react? What if something else happens and he doesn't have enough being irritated at me and telling me to pay money he knows I can't afford. What if the next time he just tells me to leave while I have nowhere to go? I mean it may seem like I'm overreacting but I just don't think this is a healthy way to deal with his frustration/stress. And a promise won't solve anything unless he finds new ways to deal with this.
But the point is that most people were right and this wasn't about the money. Some people said that this agreement is unfair. But I don't think it's unfair. And he doesn't think that either. I don't know. It's confusing.
TL;DR my boyfriend was stressed about other things and taking his anger on me. He said I don't have to pay more and promised me to never do it again.
