UPDATE: Boyfriend (37M) quits job for second time without even telling me (32F)

In short my boyfriend kept quitting jobs without considering me or having a new job. Or having any career prospects. I asked whether it was a reasonable to leave him because of this. We have been together for 4 years
So just to give feedback, we decided to break up. This has been a rough year, my father passed away in April, and the tension with the pandemic was really getting to us as well.
He actually suggested that we break up, I was relieved and angry at the same time (who decides to break up 2 months after you SO's father passes away). But I guess he couldn't handle the stress.
We'll be splitting our ways at the end of August when my lease agreement is over.
Looking forward to some healing and introspection.
