Hey so today we are celebrating national Womens Day in South Africa, It's to commemorate the march that african women took against the new legislation at that time which required all african people to carry a pass when they moved from one place to another during the apartheid era. This march took place in 1950. the African women marched and expressed themselves on that day by singing this protest song, translated to english the words are: "you strike a women, you strike a rock". I just want to wish all the females on here a happy women's day even though most of you are not from South Africa, this day is to show how strong and brave you can be.
