ELI5: How does drinking a glass of water when you wake up help you be more awake, yet doing it before bed helps you sleep?
I've always had issues getting up from bed in the morning and sleeping at night and I have been told to drink a glass of water for both. How does drinking water solve both solutions when they're completely opposite from each other?
