Husband is mad because I don’t want to contribute more money to his car.

TL;DR— my husband and I have a joint account and he’s upset that I’m not upping my contribution despite paying the lion share of our property expenses.
My husband is upset that I’m not contributing more toward his new xt preimium forester. I put down 4,5 thousand as a down payment, agreed to pay the premiums out of our joint account, and he wants me to contribute the same dollar amount that he does.
That would be fair, except I pay for our property taxes and insurance out of pocket (he doesn’t pay for any of it and hasn’t offered). It’s about $8,000 a year in fees he doesn’t contribute to.
Then, he doesn’t even pay the insurance on this car— he somehow didn’t have insurance info when we came to pick it up??? So, I put it on mine: we are newly married and haven’t consolidated.
All of the combined and— my husband makes more money than me. How does he get to make me feel guilty about paying less on his car (but still paying) when it’s his car and my monthly expenses exceed that of a car payment (prop taxes and insurance come out to about $550 a month).
What do I do. I love my husband but this is too much.
