What do you do when you reach your emotional breaking point?

In the last sixth months I've lost my cat, my grandma, gone through the absolute worst breakup of my life, and now I find out I'm being laid off at work.
How do you cope when life just keeps piling on and on? I have a few friends, none of them close. I talk to my family but it doesn't help all that much.
I'm almost numb. Like I've resigned myself to the fact that being happy is simply not meant for me and that this is just how my life goes.
What do I do to feel something positive in my life when the negative won't stop coming?

I try to be brutally honest with myself . Try to look at myself and my circumstances as a detatched observer and convince myself that I'm just a player in this illusion .
