Dig a six foot (2 meters*) hole, place it at the bottom, then cover with 3 feet (1meter) of concrete. When it sets up fill the rest in with dirt.

head-first and eyes shut...... i was - of course (for all the dear ladies reading this) - meaning that said item would be quite safe as no-one apart from myself ever goes in there....
