Work Nightmares (by Zilya777)
What are some of your worst work related experiences?
Or the most thankless, demeaning or most difficult job, you ever had?
Or the most thankless, demeaning or most difficult job, you ever had?
For me, it was the job I had the longest (10 years) counting & sorting beer & soda containers that had a .5¢ refundable deposit. There I did 3 peoples job, constantly on the go. Not to mention how nasty some of the customer's containers were, you would be surprised & disgusted to see what was in their bags. I was the fastest counter/sorter counting a customer that had over 2000+ containers in less then 20 minutes most times, knowing all the customers & what they'd bring in & very trusted with my counts over any other employee, training over 50+ people in the time I was there, loading the semi trailer of the counted bags, opening & closing, handling company drop offs etc.. and the worst part of it was when the company was bought out from the small business owners from the main company that we shipped our counted bags & glass to, they made one of the people i trained that only had been there for two years manager & not me despite my work experience (10 years), knowledge of the business, great costumer service, fastest & most accurate counter that business ever had, very trusted & dedication to the business. Smh.
Waitress jobs:
The public is so rude. I quit after I stab a man w/a fork, in his hand. He thought I was I was on the menu. My Greek bosses backed me up. But, never again..
*Please tip your waitress on your way out...* lol
