Does anyone else wish it could be Christmas...every other year? The Christmas spending spree won't stop until February when the sales are done. Mince pies and cards will be back on sale in August. That means there only five Christmas-free months in between. They give Glastonbury a year off every now and then, should do the same with Crimbo? Wouldn't we appreciate it more if it was biennial?

So they really cancel gift giving every other year? And don't sell Christmas items? I like this idea. *but keep the food*
Isn't your Christmas in The North a different day? My family celebrated two dates.

@james85: I Googled it a few days ago & also used Wikipedia. Try "European Christmas" & " Little Christmas".
*Little Christmas, is usually meant as Orthodox Christmas " about Jan., 6th.

Helllllllls to the no! Christmas should be EVERYDAY! Those who bitch and complain about the commercial aspect of it should exercise some initiative and prioritize their life. Down with Scrooges!
