What is masculinity? (by james85)

How do you define masculinity today? No longer expected to be the protector and the provider, modern males are apparently having an identity crisis: should we go all metrosexual, tone down the testosterone and chummy up to you girls, or get down the gym for I-can-still-tear-a-woolly-mammoth-apart-with-my-bare-hands look?

I think a man should be a protector and provider, someone who stands up and fights for his woman, his family etc. That metrosexual crap is for the birds. He wears the pants, I lift up my skirt, that's how I think of it.
